Goals:

  • Trick Theme

  • Practice prototyping quick networking

  • Practice prototyping quick mobile

Conclusion:

  • Got the theme

  • Network was a bit wonky and harder than I thought to prototype

  • Mobile resolution jacks up sometimes.

  • Got some good quick prototyping experience.

  • Due to scope and time, I didn’t really get anything round based in. But the concept exists.


How I came up with this game:

When it came to Trick. I thought of quick games in which players can win rounds. I ended up thinking of Hot Potato, and how players would win rounds, and the game would then wind down to less players.


What went Right:

I finished the game for the most part. I also got basic room joining working for the most part.


What went Wrong:

You have to restart the app every time you need to restart the game. Network can be wonky. Implementation was harder than I thought.
