BARF was made by a team of 5 over the course of two weeks. It is a racing game where players race each other using a bouncy ball

Built in Unreal Engine

My Contributions

As Lead Engineer I performed the following:

  • Built controls to calculate power relative to distance from ground using ray casting.

  • Built curve based bounce charging to easily adjust how fast or how slow the player could charge a bounce or jump over time.

  • Built race track checkpoints.

  • Built race track speed points.

  • Built race track slow points.

  • Designed core player controls.

  • Built UI countdown system using Unreal Widgets.

  • Modified various textures for the track in the game

  • Built instance materials for the emissive charge effect.

Handled all engineering duties.
